We were really a bit obsessed with Lucky Soul’s ‘One Kiss Don’t Make A Summer’ when it came out in 2007, and their album ‘The Great Unwanted’ got great reactions across the press.

The band have been slaving away at a new record, ‘A Coming of Age’, to be released in early 2010. They gave a sneak preview of the track ‘Woah Billy’ on their Myspace page recently, and they’re releasing a single called ‘White Russian Doll’ in January.

Much like one of our current obsessions Little Red, Lucky Soul make songs that really could come from any time in the last 40 years. The production is true to the band’s Doo-Wop and Motown influences, and singer Ali’s vocals sit perfectly on top.
