Ever thought that Van Halen’s ‘Jump’ needed a poptastic, disco-flecked updating? Yeah, us too – most days if we’re honest.

Well, here it is. Goldfrapp’s new single ‘Rocket’ leaked yesterday in a popping-up-on-Australian-iTunes-related incident, and it’s unlike anything we’ve heard from them before. It’s essentially a Van Halen-esque riff wedded to pumping production, some impressive swooshy noises at the start and end, and a chorus that goes “Woah-oh-oh I’ve got a rocket / woah-oh-oh you’re going on it.”

What’s not to love?
